Michael & Josie

Josie and Michael’s wedding day was nothing short of beautiful, joyful, and full of love. Their ceremony took place in Le Mars, Iowa, where they had a stunning Catholic wedding surrounded by family and friends. From the moment the day began, you could feel the excitement in the air—it was the kind of wedding where everyone was just so genuinely happy to be celebrating these two.

One of my favorite parts of the day was the first looks. Michael shared a first look with his mom, and it was one of the sweetest, most emotional moments. The love and respect both Josie and Michael have for their parents shone through the entire day, making it extra meaningful to witness.

After the ceremony, the fun kicked up a notch with a party bus! We made a stop downtown Le Mars, and I loved capturing some playful, carefree photos of Josie and Michael with their bridal party. These two are truly the best to photograph—so in love, relaxed, and fully embracing the joy of the day.

Their reception at Prairie Winds Event Center in Orange City was just as incredible. The space was beautifully decorated with dusty blue accents, creating such a soft and romantic vibe. Guests were treated to a delicious charcuterie board and the most amazing cupcakes—such a fun and tasty touch!

Josie and Michael’s wedding was such a reflection of who they are as a couple: fun, easygoing, and deeply in love. It was an absolute honor to capture these moments, and I know this day will be remembered with so much joy for years to come.
