Austin & Selena - Wedding

Mary Jo Wegner Artoretum Wedding in Sioux Falls South Dakota

Austin and Selena were married at the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum in Sioux Falls, SD with the reception following at Celebrate church in Brandon, SD. 

This was a unique wedding for me in so many ways! The bride has a Hispanic heritage, but wasn't able to have a Quinceañera, so her dad put on her wedding shoes at their first look. It was such a sweet moment that I was so happy to be a part of!!!

It was also really cool because Selena and Austin have been in a long-distance relationship, and they also made the decision to not kiss until their wedding day. This made their first look so incredibly special and even more meaningful. I've never been able to photograph a moment like that and I know I'll always remember it!! 

The wedding was held outside at Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum and even though it was a warm day, so many people turned out for their special day. It was beautiful to see how Selena and Austin incorporated their faith into so many aspect of their day, and I was so happy to be a part of it. 

At the reception, Austin's brother debuted a song that he wrote for Selena and Austin. How cool is that?! It was a unique reception because the bride and groom wanted to have a private picnic supper for just the two of them, so the reception had some delicious treats (including truffles the mother of the bride made herself, they were so good!) and some fun dancing before the bride and groom headed off to their intimate picnic. 

All in all, it was a special, beautiful day that I'm so glad I got to be a part of!
